Ize Seminyak By Lifestyleretreats Hotel - Seminyak (Bali)

I really wanted to love this place, but the airconditioning was a total disaster, cycling between freezing and sweltering hot. Breakfast? Absoluteley tasteless. Given the inconvenience, I expected a complimentary gesture, or at least an upgrade, but, no. How underwhelming. I almost gave a good review, but I just couldn't.

We stayed there twice: a few days around new years eve and 14 days later, at the end of our trip. The hotel just opened a few days before our first visit, so everything is brand new. That what counts most in an hotel: the beds! Super comfortable. Next the swimming pool up on the roof: nice views over seminyak and the sea. Very friendly and helpfull staff. And on top of it all: great breakfast!

One small remark: The hotel has a very nice design but one of the consequences of that design is that is isn't completely dark in the room during the night.

Staff are eager to please and smiling but still have a way to go! Hotel is very clean and has a nice contemporary look. Location is ideal, couldn't be any better if you want to be in the centre of town.

Staff that mean well but still need a lot of training! This hotel is new and so teething problems are to be expected but there were no many instances where staff were completely incompetent with the exception of the manager and restaurant manager. With (lots of) training this place has potential. Also odd bathroom arrangement glass wall to bathroom with flimsy blind so not much privacy to do your 'business'. Lousy design, looks good but impractical!

The perfect location for Seminyak fun

Ize Seminyak is perfect location with dining options like Sisterfields and Ku De Ta nearby. The friendly staff even provided bookmarks in our room, a lovely touch!

While the bed was comfortable, we noticed disturbing noise levels at night due to rowdy guests. The glass bathroom setup lacked privacy which may not suit everyone.

The hotel was wonderful, the staff were courteous, incredible experience overall. Trendy rooms and delicious and amazing breakfast available. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the location was marvellous. Speedy check-in and late check-out, parking on-site. Everything good.

Awesome rooftop pool with fine sunset views and the location is perfect for exploring all the nearby restaurants and shops. Staff were super friendly, but breakfast could use more variety. A really solid stay!

Breakfast options could be more diverse. The location is fantastic, surrounded by great shops and restaurants. The staff's friendliness stood out, but some room features felt a bit worn.

Loved the rooftop pool vibes, but WiFi was poor by the pool area.

Location is unbeatable with bars and restaurants nearby. The staff are helpful.

The breakfast variety needs improvement and some food items took too long to be refilled.
